Part one: Doting Snake Lord Plot Summary

Doting Snake Lord is a 35-episode modern youth short drama. It talks about Elena’s adversity caused by her sister Veronica’s jealousy and her revenge after rebirth. The story was set in a dynasty of ancient dragons. 

From their childhood, Elena and Veronica were destined to have different fates. Elena came across Veronica when she was dying. It was Elena who saved her and begged her father to adopt her.  However, Veronica didn’t learn to thank for Elena. Instead, she stabbed her in the back, stole her mate and switched her baby.  

In the last life, Elena went into labor on the exact same day as her sister. The ancient dragon ranked bloodlines by their glow. Elena gave birth to a gold egg which meant it was a top-order pure blood. But the gold egg changed into a black one instantly. Elena didn’t know why. 

With the black egg, Veronica started to slander that Elena sneaked around behind Grayson’s back, sleeping with filthy half-breeds or even monsters from the abyss because both Grayson and Elena were gold dragons.

It was the day their dragon middles came of age. They must stand before the ancestral grounds and beg the ancient dragon ancestors for a bloodline prophecy. Whoever was destined to bear gold dragon offspring would be crowned the Supreme Dragon Mother. Most of the public thought Elena had got the best shot at laying a gold egg because she had a first-order gold dragon bloodline.

At that moment, Veronica walked to Elena and started to flatter her. She said that even without the ancestors' blessing, Elena would definitely lay a gold egg and bring glory to their house. Hearing this, Elena slapped Veronica with the reason that what she said was to completely ignore the dragon lord’s rules.

In this life, Elena carried out her revenge with chilling precision not as a woman driven by blind rage, but as a strategist who had memorized every twist of fate from her previous existence. She not only used her own power to the extreme but also turned o the imprisoned Dragon Ancestor Nidhogg. In order to protect herself, she bore nine dragon cubs by accident. 

As the day of labor drew near, the villains led by the scheming Veronica repeated the same slanderous plots they had used in her past life, hoping to catch Elena at her weakest. On the day she gave birth, the villains attacked and slandered her once gain. Luckily, Nidhogg was always there to help her. He showed up bravely to protect his mate. At the same time, he revealed Veronica’s true identity as a wyvern which was lower than a gold dragon. What’s more, he eliminated all enemies with his own power. 

In the story's final, triumphant arc, Elena not only survived but thrived. Elena revenged Veronica successfully and ascended to become the Divine Mother. Her nine dragon offspring, each born with a unique elemental affinity and a will as unyielding as their parents', grew to command awe and terror across the three realms—heaven, earth, and the underworld. 

Part four: Conclusion

When the story came to an end, Elena stood at the top of the Dragon Supreme Temple, looking down upon the countless creatures beneath the sea of clouds who had submitted to her. Her enemy - that false dragon Veronica who deceived the world - had been stripped of her disguise in full view of all, reduced to dust. Grayson, the man who twice pushed her into the abyss with his own hands, ultimately lived in a more painful imprisonment than death - he had to watch as Elena became a legend that he could never reach.
