Selena Hart lost her father at the age of five. In the later ten years, she lived with Cole’s family. The happy life in the family made her forget the sorrow of losing the family quickly. Seeing Selena’s innocent expression, Adrian pulled her down the bed. Selena was too weak to stand and she knelt on the floor. 

Adrian felt sorry but he ran away when he heard Lyra’s calling for help. On the first floor, Adrian’s father was hitting Lyra with a rope. Adrian dashed to protect her and said it was him who pushed Selena. His father was so angry that he hit Adrian and Lyra together.   

Seeing Selena standing nearby, Adrian asked his father why he treated her like this. Ever since Selena came, their alpha was gone and they’d hunted. Adrian thought Selena was a curse.
