Growing up alone in the forest, Avery, an Omega wolf, longed to find her Mate and live a peaceful life with him. After being captured by a Rogue wolf, she was saved by Alpha Xavier of the mountain pack. In the midst of danger, two of them form the Mate bond, and Avery is happy that she has found her true mate, but Xavier rejects her, saying directly that he doesn't want Avery to be his mate.
