In her family’s eyes, it was always Miranda who’d even remember that day was Chelsea’s Distinguished Service Award which is only given once every two years. Knowing they’d all celebrate her graduation, Chelsea told them not to come to her ceremony.  

Just as she was about to leave the ceremony, the front door crashed open. Two rogues broke into the house and one had her wrist locked behind her back. They swore and shoved her into the wall. And Chelsea’s shoulder hit the door frame.
